TechnoGirls' Barbara Chambers announced the completion of Romeo's Blue Skies volume four, the first new episode release in over a year. (Chambers sent her apologies to fans of the series, noting that they "seem to be a fervent but quietly patient sort," and promises that the next wait won't be so long.) Featuring character designs by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by World Masterpiece Theater, Romeo's Blue Skies volume 4's subtitling was assisted by Andrew Hall of Shenlon Anime.
Kodocha Anime's fansubs of the 1992 Jungle Taitei TV series featuring Megumi Hayashibara have been pulled due to Pioneer's announcement of the title, which is expected to ship in October, according to their web page. Kenji's Spring has been taken off as well, following an e-mail from Mixx Entertainment president Stuart Levy informing them that the information they had gotten was false, and that they really do own the international distribution rights. While they investigate to find out who's lying and who isn't, Kodocha has ceased to make the OAV available.
Kodocha also a new project to announce. Cowboy Bebop, the amazing OAV series that aired in Japan earlier this year, will be subtitled in association with Reality/Yagami studios, who will provide the translation. The LD's don't start shipping until December.
